This little kitten has been sitting in her original Jezlaine packaging since sometime between 1975 and 1990 — the New Mexico–based brand was known for their sculptural sterling silver charms, and this one is a perfect example of why collectors still hunt for them. She's playing with a ball, curled and caught mid-pounce, with the kind of detail you just don't find anymore.
I set a responsibly sourced orange diamond into her toy ball. That's it. That's all she needed. This piece is part of the Reborn Vintage Collection.I personally find and curate each vintage piece, restore it when needed, and always add something of my own to create something truly one of a kind that will never be reproduced.
A note on care:
Sterling silver can tarnish when exposed to harsh chemicals, so remove before swimming. Vintage pieces deserve a little extra consideration. Skip the gym, gardening, or anything where they might take a knock. With the right care, they will last a long time.
