RETURNS + POLICIES
Production Time & Shipping
Because every piece is made in my small Rhode Island studio, production timelines can vary.
-
Ready-to-Ship Pieces: Ship within 7 days of payment.
-
Made-to-Order Pieces: Can take up to 5 weeks to fabricate and ship.
-
Custom Orders: May take up to 4 months, depending on design complexity and material sourcing.
Please check the product description to confirm whether an item is ready to ship or made to order before purchasing.
International Shipping Policy
I currently ship to a limited list of countries outside the U.S. to ensure reliable delivery and smooth customs processing.
I do not ship to EU countries or Northern Ireland due to new GPSR regulations requiring an EU-based “Responsible Person.”
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and additional fees, which are not included in my shipping rates.
Once your package is transferred to the shipping carrier, all risk and responsibility pass to you as the importer. I cannot be held liable for delays, customs holds, loss, or confiscation by customs.
If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to pick up from customs, the buyer is responsible for reshipment costs.
If you have questions about international delivery options, feel free to contact me before placing an order.
Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Shipments
Once a package leaves my studio, I am not responsible for delays, loss, or theft.
If an issue occurs, please contact USPS or your selected carrier directly.
Want extra peace of mind?
If you’d like Signature Confirmation, leave a note at checkout — I’ll add it at no extra cost.
Order Cancellations
Once your order has shipped, or production has begun for a made-to-order or custom piece, cancellations are not possible.
Please review all product details carefully before purchasing.
Return Policies
Jewelry
Because each piece is handmade with care, all jewelry sales are final.
By placing an order, you agree to the item’s description and photos.
However, if you are truly unhappy with your piece, please reach out — I always want you to love what you receive.
In rare cases, a return for store credit may be approved.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Custom & Made-to-Order Jewelry
Custom and Made-to-Order pieces are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.
I work closely with clients during the design and approval process to ensure everything is clear before production begins.
Custom Apparel & Goods
Merch items (t-shirts, beanies, hats, etc.) are made on demand when you order, which means:
-
I do not keep inventory
-
Returns and exchanges are not accepted
If you need help with sizing, feel free to contact me before placing an order.
Custom Work Payment & Policies
Custom gold projects begin at a minimum of $500.
Clients may be charged a $150 design fee that is non refundable but does apply to the cost of your custom piece.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin production once the project details and price are agreed upon. If production has started, cancellation results in forfeiture of the deposit. Significant design changes after production begins may incur additional costs.
Final payment is due upon completion.
Your piece will ship once the balance is paid.
If final payment is not made and attempts to contact you are unsuccessful, the piece may be retained or listed as studio inventory after a six month period.
All custom work is final sale.
Warranty & Repairs
All Corkie Bolton Jewelry pieces include a one-year warranty covering normal wear and tear.
If an issue occurs during that time, I’ll repair it at no charge.
Buyers are responsible for shipping items back to the studio, and all return shipments must be insured for the full value.
Repairs requested after the warranty period are welcome and evaluated individually.
I’ll provide a clear quote for labor and materials before moving forward.
I always stand behind my work and want your jewelry to stay beautifully wearable for years to come.
Privacy Policies
I never sell or share your personal information, except when needed to complete your order (such as payment processing or shipping).
If you subscribe to emails, you may receive updates about new releases or sales — and you can unsubscribe anytime.
If you’d like your customer data removed from my system, you can contact me, and I’ll take care of it.
Limitation of Liability
By purchasing from my shop, you agree that Corkie Bolton Jewelry is not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, or damages resulting from use or misuse of my products.
Please follow proper jewelry care guidelines and be aware of any metal sensitivities you may have.

I may update or modify these policies at any time without notice.
