This Australian black opal necklace has such a dreamy mix of color, with flashes of green, blue, lavender and pink shifting across the stone as it catches the light.
The opal was cut by Ancients17, one of my trusted sources for ethically sourced Australian opals. I hand fabricated the setting in 14k yellow gold with six delicate prongs, keeping the design as open as possible so the opal could remain the focus. A pair of simple 14k yellow gold jump rings connects the pendant to the chain for a clean, understated finish. It hangs from an 18" sterling silver cable chain, creating an easy mixed-metal look.

This Lightning Ridge crystal opal necklace has an incredible soft glow, with flashes of pink, green, orange and blue moving through the stone as the light changes. I wanted the setting to feel delicate and open so you could really see the play of color from every angle.
The opal was cut by Ancients17 and comes from Lightning Ridge, Australia, one of the world’s most famous opal-producing regions. I hand fabricated the setting in 14k yellow gold with seven prongs, giving the stone plenty of security while keeping the overall look light and airy. Simple 14k yellow gold jump rings connect the pendant to the chain.
It hangs from an 18" sterling silver elongated cable chain, which gives the necklace a slightly more graphic, modern look while still keeping the opal front and center.

This Australian black opal necklace is all about that incredible flash of color. The opal has a luminous green glow with flashes that shift as it moves, and I wanted the setting to stay minimal so the stone could really be the focus.
The opal was cut by Ancients17, one of my trusted sources for ethically sourced Australian opals. I hand fabricated the setting in 14k yellow gold, using five delicate prongs to securely hold the stone while leaving as much of the opal visible as possible.
It hangs from an 18" sterling silver Saturn cable chain, which has tiny reflective stations throughout that catch the light without competing with the pendant.

This Misfit Heart necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece made to be worn close. I created the heart in 14k yellow gold and set it with a stunning responsibly sourced Vietnam ruby from Columbia Gem House in a thick bezel. The front is finished with hand engraving around the heart, adding texture and that imperfectly perfect character I love so much.
On the back, I hand engraved the words “You are loved” and added a soft Florentine finish, along with a 14K stamp. It hangs from an 18-inch silver elongated rectangle chain that gives the piece a slightly edgy, modern feel against the warmth of the gold heart. This vintage sterling silver german shepard charm is from Beaucraft, a mid century manufacturer based in Providence, Rhode Island. This charm is likely from the 1950's-60's, designed with the kind of sculptural detail and solid weight you just don't find in mass production today. The relief work on this little dog is remarkable: feathered coat, expressive posture, and all the personality of the breed captured in miniature.
As part of my Reborn Vintage Collection, I gave this dog a one of a kind look by adding a movable 14k yellow gold collar, and applying a patina to show off thew incredible facial and fur details!

This vintage sterling silver horse and horseshoe by Beaucraft likely dates to the 1950s–60s. I discovered it as a ring in an antique store in Tucson, Arizona, and immediately loved the sculptural horse tucked inside the horseshoe. While I can’t say for certain whether Beaucraft originally manufactured it in that form, that is how the piece came to me, and I knew I wanted to transform it into something a little more versatile while preserving its vintage character.
As part of my Reborn Vintage Collection, I transformed it into a one of a kind necklace, adding a tiny green diamond eye and hand engraving “GOOD LUCK” on the back using a traditional wriggle engraving technique, done entirely by hand with a push graver.
The charm hangs from an 18" sterling silver Saturn cable chain finished with a toggle clasp. If you would prefer a different clasp, or if you are left-handed and would like the clasp positioned on the left-hand side, please leave a note at checkout and I will make that adjustment complimentary.

For all my skaters out there! When I found this mid-century sterling silver roller skate charm, I knew I had to add some color. I love the tiny sculptural details of the skate, especially the wheels, which still have a little movement and make the piece feel extra playful. It is likely this charm is form the 1960's.

This vintage sterling silver ice skate charm likely dates to the 1960s, and I loved the shape of it immediately, especially that long, elegant blade. I restored the original charm and polished the blade to an extra-bright shine so it really catches the light. (It’s not sharp, don’t worry lol.)

I found this miniature box charm in Newport, Rhode Island a few years back, when I had first started thinking about modifying vintage jewelry. The mystery of this charm, who made it and what was it used to hold? A single pill? A tiny love note? A snippet of hair or fur? I can’t know what this one once held, but I do know it will now have a new chapter with a new owner.
This vintage sterling silver miniature box appears to have been fabricated by hand rather than mass produced. It has a functional hinged lid and tiny clasp, and the bail itself is on a hinge. It has a lot of movement and I love how simple and beautifully made it is.
For my Reborn Vintage Collection, I restored the piece and added a pink sapphire set into a hand-engraved star setting on the tapered bail. That little pop of color feels like just enough while still keeping the original box as the focus.
I decided not to put this one on a chain because the bail has a nice, generous opening and can easily be added to a chain you already own. If you would like to purchase a chain separately, just reach out to me and I’d be happy to help.
