In 2023, I studied goldsmithing for a week in Florence, Italy, where we made cup-shaped bezels. The Evolution Opal Ring uses that setting, along with diamond pavé. I fabricated the ring and set the diamonds myself, so this is a true one of a kind.
This handmade opal and diamond ring is a work of art in 18k yellow gold, hand engraved and set with six SI1 natural diamonds. It has the unmistakable shine of human craftsmanship.

A note on opals: Opals are a softer gemstone. It’s best to remove your opal jewelry before swimming, bathing, showering, or submerging it in water.

This Australian black opal necklace is all about that incredible flash of color. The opal has a luminous green glow with flashes that shift as it moves, and I wanted the setting to stay minimal so the stone could really be the focus.
The opal was cut by Ancients17, one of my trusted sources for ethically sourced Australian opals. I hand fabricated the setting in 14k yellow gold, using five delicate prongs to securely hold the stone while leaving as much of the opal visible as possible.
It hangs from an 18" sterling silver Saturn cable chain, which has tiny reflective stations throughout that catch the light without competing with the pendant.
Care
Opals require a little extra care. Avoid exposure to chemicals, perfumes, lotions, household cleaners, and jewelry cleaning solutions. Please remove your necklace before swimming, bathing, or showering, and never place an opal in an ultrasonic or chemical jewelry cleaner.
When not being worn, store your necklace somewhere dry and protected from scratches or impact.

Ancients17 is a lapidary artist specializing in high-quality Australian opals, and when I saw the soft matte finish on this one, I knew I had to work with it. This 14k yellow gold Australian opal stud features a thick bezel, hand-engraved detailing, and a dreamy opal with flashes of neon blue and green over warm orange undertones.
The contrast between the matte opal and recycled 14k gold gives this one-of-a-kind stud a soft, luminous look while still feeling substantial and special.

This Lightning Ridge crystal opal necklace has an incredible soft glow, with flashes of pink, green, orange and blue moving through the stone as the light changes. I wanted the setting to feel delicate and open so you could really see the play of color from every angle.
The opal was cut by Ancients17 and comes from Lightning Ridge, Australia, one of the world’s most famous opal-producing regions. I hand fabricated the setting in 14k yellow gold with seven prongs, giving the stone plenty of security while keeping the overall look light and airy. Simple 14k yellow gold jump rings connect the pendant to the chain.
It hangs from an 18" sterling silver elongated cable chain, which gives the necklace a slightly more graphic, modern look while still keeping the opal front and center.

Lightning Ridge crystal opals are some of the most coveted stones on earth — and this one earns that reputation. Full-spectrum fire moves across the surface in shifting patches of red, orange, blue, green, and violet. It never looks the same twice.
I bezel set it in 22k gold, chosen specifically for that rich, buttery yellow that lets the opal do its thing without competing. The bail is 14k for durability, and the back of the pendant is fine silver — stamped 22k, 14k, .999, CBJ — which resists tarnish beautifully. It hangs on an 18" sterling silver cable chain.
This is the kind of piece you wear every day and never get used to.
A note on care:
Lightning Ridge crystal opal is among the most durable and high quality opal in the world, but still deserves a little care. Remove before swimming and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. Sterling silver is a softer metal and can scratch with rough wear. Treat it well and it will last.

- 22k yellow gold bezel setting
- 14k yellow gold bail
- Fine silver (.999) back
