This vintage sterling silver horse charm is a beautiful example of mid-century American charm production, a time when jewelry was designed to be substantial, durable, and made to last a lifetime. Produced by Beaucraft, a beloved American jewelry company founded in Providence, Rhode Island, this charm carries a special piece of jewelry-making history. During the 1950s charm boom, Beaucraft became known for creating collectible sterling charms that were thoughtfully designed and proudly made in the U.S.A. — pieces meant to be worn daily, passed down, and treasured over time.

The horse motif adds a sense of movement and symbolism, while the solid construction reminds us of a period when charms weren’t just decorative — they were tiny heirlooms in the making.

As part of my Reborn Vintage collection, I’ve given this piece a new chapter — adding three pink sapphires and hand engraving to make it completely one of a kind. Finished on an 18" sterling silver cable chain, it blends its mid-century roots with a modern, wearable update — ready for her next chapter.

I discovered this mid century 10k yellow gold wedding band and it's wider silhouette immediately caught my eye. Simple, timeless, and clearly loved with some soft dings in the gold. I knew it was waiting for its next chapter.

I transformed it by peppering 18 sapphires and diamonds, each one varying in size and color. Soft pastel hues dance alongside richer, moodier tones — a balance of light and depth, subtle and bold. Every stone set by hand, every detail considered.

Inside the band, I hand-carved my own “CB” alongside “10k” — a quiet signature marking its new life as a reimagined, modern heirloom. The ring also features a decorative imitation hallmark inside the band, including an anchor. While the anchor is the official assay symbol for Birmingham, England, similar markings were sometimes used decoratively outside the U.K. to suggest heritage or craftsmanship, even when the piece wasn’t actually assayed there. It wasn’t meant to deceive — simply to evoke tradition.

I noticed the cool shape of these vintage hoops in a second-hand shop here in Rhode Island, and the moment I picked them up and clicked the lever backs, I was delighted. They’re incredibly lightweight, beautifully shaped, and had that quiet little spark that told me they were meant for a second life. I added a Misfit Heart charm to each hoop — sterling silver with a soft satin finish and hand-engraved sapphires — to give them movement, color, and asymmetry. 

Every piece in the Reborn Vintage Collection has been carefully restored and is in strong, wearable condition — but as with all vintage jewelry, a little extra care goes a long way. This one-of-a-kind Misfit Heart Pendant celebrates imperfection and beauty in equal measure. Four stones — three pastel sapphires (color treated) and one sparkling diamond responsibly sourced from Misfit Diamonds — are scattered across the heart in hand-engraved star settings. Each gem is placed a little off-center, creating an asymmetrical layout that feels intentionally playful and perfectly misfit. The charm itself hangs at a natural angle, giving it an organic, effortless look.

On the back, I engraved a tiny flower and stars — because I always like to add a hidden detail wherever I can. ✨

This one-of-a-kind bracelet embodies everything I love about the Reborn Vintage process — taking something forgotten and turning it into something full of life again.

I found the vintage sterling curb chain at one of my favorite secondhand stores in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The quality was immediately clear — solid sterling silver links. The chain was long enough that I knew I could create more than one new piece from it, and this bracelet is one of those transformations.

To complement the vintage chain, I handcrafted a charm from recycled 14k yellow gold and set a deep blue sapphire cabochon in a hand-engraved star setting. The back of the charm features a special detail (a little secret just for the wearer).

Bringing together this beautifully made vintage curb chain with my own goldwork brings me so much joy — instead of melting down old jewelry, it gets to live its second story.
