I found these vintage horse and horseshoe charms together on an old charm bracelet, and I loved the idea of keeping them together as a mismatched pair. One is a tiny horse head, while the other is a horseshoe topped with a four-leaf clover, both classic symbols of luck.

The charms are made from 800 silver, a silver standard commonly found in vintage European jewelry. Based on their construction and where they came from, they are likely mid-century pieces. I paired them with simple sterling silver hinged hoops, turning two little pieces of an old charm bracelet into an easy-to-wear pair of earrings.

I especially love that they coordinate without matching exactly. They have the same equestrian theme and vintage feel, but each earring has its own little personality.

This vintage sterling silver horse and horseshoe by Beaucraft likely dates to the 1950s–60s. I discovered it as a ring in an antique store in Tucson, Arizona, and immediately loved the sculptural horse tucked inside the horseshoe. While I can’t say for certain whether Beaucraft originally manufactured it in that form, that is how the piece came to me, and I knew I wanted to transform it into something a little more versatile while preserving its vintage character.

As part of my Reborn Vintage Collection, I transformed it into a one of a kind necklace, adding a tiny green diamond eye and hand engraving “GOOD LUCK” on the back using a traditional wriggle engraving technique, done entirely by hand with a push graver.

The charm hangs from an 18" sterling silver Saturn cable chain finished with a toggle clasp. If you would prefer a different clasp, or if you are left-handed and would like the clasp positioned on the left-hand side, please leave a note at checkout and I will make that adjustment complimentary.

I found this ring thrifting in Rhode Island on my birthday, and I had to get it. An open sterling silver ring with a crescent moon on one end and a star on the other. I set the moon is set with a gradient of responsibly sourced sapphires + diamond, hand engraved, ranging from purple, pink to orange. The star holds a single yellow sapphire in a star setting.

The ring is stamped .925 and Celline (the original maker's mark) inside the band, someone also carved an "S". It's a size 6.5, but given the open design, it can be worn a little smaller or bigger.

This piece is part of the Reborn Vintage Collection. I personally find and curate each vintage piece, restore it when needed, and always add something of my own to create something truly one of a kind that will never be reproduced.

I found this miniature box charm in Newport, Rhode Island a few years back, when I had first started thinking about modifying vintage jewelry. The mystery of this charm, who made it and what was it used to hold? A single pill? A tiny love note? A snippet of hair or fur? I can’t know what this one once held, but I do know it will now have a new chapter with a new owner.

This vintage sterling silver miniature box appears to have been fabricated by hand rather than mass produced. It has a functional hinged lid and tiny clasp, and the bail itself is on a hinge. It has a lot of movement and I love how simple and beautifully made it is.

For my Reborn Vintage Collection, I restored the piece and added a pink sapphire set into a hand-engraved star setting on the tapered bail. That little pop of color feels like just enough while still keeping the original box as the focus.

I decided not to put this one on a chain because the bail has a nice, generous opening and can easily be added to a chain you already own. If you would like to purchase a chain separately, just reach out to me and I’d be happy to help.

When I saw this vintage sterling silver articulating teddy bear charm in an antique store in Arizona I was STOKED. not only can it dance around but it has this amazing fur. This whimsical charm is from the mid century, an era when charm jewelry was made to last, designed with the kind of sculptural detail and solid weight you just don't find in mass production today. 

Every joint moves. The little guy has a whole personality, and he'd been sitting in that antique case long enough.

This vintage sterling silver ice skate charm likely dates to the 1960s, and I loved the shape of it immediately, especially that long, elegant blade. I restored the original charm and polished the blade to an extra-bright shine so it really catches the light. (It’s not sharp, don’t worry lol.)

When I found this vintage sterling silver bow ring, I just really loved its sculptural shape and femininity. The soft loops of the bow have so much dimension, but the original pale amethyst at the center had been chipped over time and felt like the perfect opportunity for me to add something of my own.

For my Reborn Vintage Collection, I replaced the damaged stone with a rich purple amethyst cabochon and set it in a handmade 14k yellow gold bezel. As a Rhode Islander, an 18k gold anchor charm was never going to make it past me. This one is stamped 750, which was common among Italian makers of the mid-century, and beyond that its story is its own. The twisted rope wrapping the shaft is genuinely beautiful, the kind of sculptural detail that just doesn't show up in mass production.

I added a responsibly sourced white diamond in a hand engraved star setting at the center. Then I strung it on a rolo chain I modified with three 14k gold links and oxidized black for contrast. The result is something that feels both vintage and entirely current.

I set the diamond in an 18k yellow gold bezel and added hand-engraved details around the setting to echo the facets of the diamond, giving this piece a truly one-of-a-kind finishing touch. I found this vintage James Avery “I Love You” charm and instantly fell for its unmistakable ’90s charm. Featuring the brand’s signature hallmark, this sweet sterling silver piece is estimated to date to the late 1980s–1990s, based on its markings — a period when James Avery produced many sentimental, message-driven charms meant for everyday wear and gifting. I found this one while thrifting in Tucson, Arizona, and it stopped me in my tracks. A chunky open sterling silver ring with a crescent moon on one end and a star on the other, and I immediately knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I set the moon is set with a gradient of responsibly sourced sapphires, hand engraved, ranging from purple to pastel orange and pink. The star holds a single green rose-cut diamond, also hand engraved. The combination is unexpected in the best way.

The ring is stamped .925 and Mexico inside the band, which places it among the wave of quality sterling silver pieces coming out of Mexico in the late 1990s. It's a size 8, but given the open design, it has a little flexibility to go slightly a size smaller (leave a note in at checkout with your size.)

This piece is part of the Reborn Vintage Collection. I personally find and curate each vintage piece, restore it when needed, and always add something of my own to create something truly one of a kind that will never be reproduced.

A note on care:
Sterling silver can tarnish when exposed to harsh chemicals, so remove before swimming. Vintage pieces deserve a little extra consideration. Skip the gym, gardening, or anything where they might take a knock. With the right care, they will last a long time.
