Reborn Vintage

I found this one while thrifting in Tucson, Arizona, and it stopped me in my tracks. A chunky open sterling silver ring with a crescent moon on one end and a star on the other, and I immediately knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I set the moon is set with a gradient of responsibly sourced sapphires, hand engraved, ranging from purple to pastel orange and pink. The star holds a single green rose-cut diamond, also hand engraved. The combination is unexpected in the best way.

The ring is stamped .925 and Mexico inside the band, which places it among the wave of quality sterling silver pieces coming out of Mexico in the late 1990s. It's a size 8, but given the open design, it has a little flexibility to go slightly a size smaller (leave a note in at checkout with your size.)

This piece is part of the Reborn Vintage Collection. I personally find and curate each vintage piece, restore it when needed, and always add something of my own to create something truly one of a kind that will never be reproduced.

As a Rhode Islander, an 18k gold anchor charm was never going to make it past me. This one is stamped 750, which was common among Italian makers of the mid-century, and beyond that its story is its own. The twisted rope wrapping the shaft is genuinely beautiful, the kind of sculptural detail that just doesn't show up in mass production.

I added a responsibly sourced white diamond in a hand engraved star setting at the center. Then I strung it on a rolo chain I modified with three 14k gold links and oxidized black for contrast. The result is something that feels both vintage and entirely current.

I discovered this 14k gold wide band in a second-hand store and was immediately drawn to it — wide and substantial in presence, yet surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to wear. It had all the quiet dignity of a vintage wedding ring, and I knew immediately I wanted to give it a new chapter.

For this Reborn Vintage piece, I hand-selected a stunning 0.40ct salt and pepper rose cut diamond from Misfit Diamonds — my favorite source for responsibly sourced diamonds — while at the Tucson gem shows. I set the diamond in an 18k yellow gold bezel and added hand-engraved details around the setting to echo the facets of the diamond, giving this piece a truly one-of-a-kind finishing touch. The warmth of the gold, the character of the stone, and the craftsmanship of the engraving all come together to transform a simple vintage band into something that could easily become someone's most treasured piece — an engagement ring, a statement ring, or simply a ring you reach for every single day.

I found this vintage James Avery “I Love You” charm and instantly fell for its unmistakable ’90s charm. Featuring the brand’s signature hallmark, this sweet sterling silver piece is estimated to date to the late 1980s–1990s, based on its markings — a period when James Avery produced many sentimental, message-driven charms meant for everyday wear and gifting. Nostalgic and timeless, it reflects an era when jewelry was designed to hold meaning, be worn close, and cherished over time.

What drew me to this ring was the inside engraving "FOR MY MOTHER". I’ve always been drawn to sentimental jewelry — pieces made to mark relationships, moments, or quiet acts of love. An inscription like “for my mother” tells a story we may never fully know, but that’s part of what I love about it. These pieces were created with intention, worn close, and meant to carry meaning. I discovered this mid century 10k yellow gold wedding band and it's wider silhouette immediately caught my eye. Simple, timeless, and clearly loved with some soft dings in the gold. I knew it was waiting for its next chapter.

I transformed it by peppering 18 sapphires and diamonds, each one varying in size and color. Soft pastel hues dance alongside richer, moodier tones — a balance of light and depth, subtle and bold. Every stone set by hand, every detail considered.

Inside the band, I hand-carved my own “CB” alongside “10k” — a quiet signature marking its new life as a reimagined, modern heirloom. The ring also features a decorative imitation hallmark inside the band, including an anchor. While the anchor is the official assay symbol for Birmingham, England, similar markings were sometimes used decoratively outside the U.K. to suggest heritage or craftsmanship, even when the piece wasn’t actually assayed there. It wasn’t meant to deceive — simply to evoke tradition.

This vintage Tiffany & Co. Sevillana Confetti Ring is a joyful collision of iconic design and hand craftsmanship. Set with 24 sapphires and diamonds, each stone varies in size and is individually hand engraved, creating a one-of-a-kind confetti effect full of texture, sparkle, and movement. The original ring is a vintage Tiffany & Co. Sevillana design by Elsa Peretti, crafted in sterling silver and known for its sculptural hollow oval form. First introduced in the late 1970s, the Sevillana collection became especially popular in the early 1980s, when many Peretti silver pieces were produced for Tiffany in Spain. Based on hallmarks, construction, and production history, this ring is estimated to date to the early–mid 1980s.

When I saw this vintage sterling silver articulating teddy bear charm in an antique store in Arizona I was STOKED.
