Unit price perThis little charm was headed for the melting pot, and I said absolutely not. This vintage 14k yellow gold “Super Mom” charm was likely hand sawn by a bench jeweler for someone as a custom in the 1990s, when charms like this were everywhere. The swirly script on top, the chunky block letters underneath, and the lightweight cutout style are retro in the best way.
This one was a gentle restoration, I then added a bold sterling silver figaro chain, to complete the retro vibes. This necklace is ready to wear or give to the mom who deserves recognition. As a mom of two humans and one furry baby, I would rock the hell out of this!
This piece is part of the Reborn Vintage Collection. I personally find and curate each vintage piece, restore it when needed, and pair or add something of my own to create something special.
A note on care:
Vintage pieces deserve a little extra consideration. Remove before swimming and avoid harsh chemicals. The gold charm needs only a gentle wipe. The sterling silver chain can tarnish over time, and a soft polishing cloth will bring it back.
