This ring is made from solid Fairmined 14k yellow gold. Fairmined is a certification from the Alliance for Responsible Mining for gold from artisanal and small scale mines. Miners are paid fairly and work under safer conditions, mining practices protect the environment, and a premium paid on the gold goes back to the mining communities. It’s gold with a traceable story.
The diamond has a story too. It’s a .37ct asymmetrical heart diamond reclaimed from a vintage piece, given a new life here. I set it flush into a smooth domed band and surrounded it with decorative engraving that radiates out like a little burst of light. The ring has a generous presence on the finger and a matte finish.
A note on care:
Diamonds are the hardest gemstone and solid 14k gold is a durable metal, so this ring is made for everyday wear. Remove before swimming and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. Treat it well and it will last.
