This vintage sterling silver ice skate charm likely dates to the 1960s, and I loved the shape of it immediately, especially that long, elegant blade. I restored the original charm and polished the blade to an extra-bright shine so it really catches the light. (It’s not sharp, don’t worry lol.)
As part of my Reborn Vintage Collection, I added three responsibly sourced sapphires for a playful hit of color: two pink sapphires in different hues and a sunny yellow sapphire. The mix feels a little unexpected and gives this tiny vintage skate such a fun personality without taking away from its original details.

When I saw this vintage sterling silver articulating teddy bear charm in an antique store in Arizona I was STOKED. not only can it dance around but it has this amazing fur. This whimsical charm is from the mid century, an era when charm jewelry was made to last, designed with the kind of sculptural detail and solid weight you just don't find in mass production today.
Every joint moves. The little guy has a whole personality, and he'd been sitting in that antique case long enough.
Part of what drives the Reborn Vintage Collection is exactly this, finding a forgotten, tarnished piece that's been overlooked for decades and giving it a new life. I add my own artist's hand, my own point of view, and turn it into something truly one of a kind. A second story.
For this little bear, I added an orange diamond on the belly, plus a pink sapphire on the backside since he does like to show off his booty!

I found these vintage horse and horseshoe charms together on an old charm bracelet, and I loved the idea of keeping them together as a mismatched pair. One is a tiny horse head, while the other is a horseshoe topped with a four-leaf clover, both classic symbols of luck.
The charms are made from 800 silver, a silver standard commonly found in vintage European jewelry. Based on their construction and where they came from, they are likely mid-century pieces. I paired them with simple sterling silver hinged hoops, turning two little pieces of an old charm bracelet into an easy-to-wear pair of earrings.
I especially love that they coordinate without matching exactly. They have the same equestrian theme and vintage feel, but each earring has its own little personality.
