The Misfit Series is my exploration of combining responsibly sourced fine gemstones with recycled gold, playful engraving, and a love of asymmetry to create truly one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces. These designs are for those who appreciate handmade work, supporting an artisan, and investing in something meaningful and memorable.
Why Misfit?
I’ve always identified as an artist and a bit of a weirdo — someone who naturally marches to the beat of their own drum. There is so much jewelry in the world already, and if I was going to add to it, it needed to feel different. The Misfit series is my way of creating pieces that are playful and unexpected, while still being incredibly intentional in how they’re made. From the way I source materials to the details in the engraving, each Misfit is designed to stand apart — thoughtful, unconventional, and unapologetically individual.

Like a little universe you can wear, this 18k yellow gold diamond star necklace is hand fabricated from certified recycled gold and finished with a constellation of hand-engraved stars surrounding a brilliant 2.5mm SI1 Canadian diamond.
The diamond was responsibly sourced from Canada and personally set by me. I kept the finish matte so the engraved stars and diamond could stand out against the warm 18k yellow gold. The back is stamped 18K + CB and finished with one additional hand-engraved star.
The pendant hangs from a substantial 18" 18k yellow gold cable chain, giving the piece a beautiful weight while still feeling easy enough for everyday wear.
