As a Rhode Islander, an 18k gold anchor charm was never going to make it past me. This one is stamped 750, which was common among Italian makers of the mid-century, and beyond that its story is its own. The twisted rope wrapping the shaft is genuinely beautiful, the kind of sculptural detail that just doesn't show up in mass production.

I added a responsibly sourced white diamond in a hand engraved star setting at the center. Then I strung it on a rolo chain I modified with three 14k gold links and oxidized black for contrast. The result is something that feels both vintage and entirely current.

This piece is part of the Reborn Vintage Collection. I personally find and curate each vintage piece, restore it when needed, and always add something of my own to create something truly one of a kind that will never be reproduced.

A note on care:

Sterling silver can tarnish when exposed to harsh chemicals, so remove before swimming. Vintage pieces deserve a little extra consideration. Skip the gym, gardening, or anything where they might take a knock. With the right care, they will last a long time.

I bezel set it in 22k gold, chosen specifically for that rich, buttery yellow that lets the opal do its thing without competing. This Misfit Heart necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece with a sweet little edge. I created the heart in sterling silver and set it with a Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochon in a 14k yellow gold bezel with a decorative border that adds just the right amount of detail. Four stones — three pastel sapphires (color treated) and one sparkling diamond responsibly sourced from Misfit Diamonds — are scattered across the heart in hand-engraved star settings. Each gem is placed a little off-center, creating an asymmetrical layout that feels intentionally playful and perfectly misfit. On the back, I engraved a tiny flower and stars — because I always like to add a hidden detail wherever I can. ✨

This vintage tooth charm dates back to the 1950s, originally part of a sterling silver charm bracelet from an era when whimsical, symbolic charms were meant to tell personal stories. Sweet, slightly strange, and full of character, it’s the kind of piece that makes you smile twice.

As part of my Reborn Vintage Collection, I gave this charm a new chapter by adding a 14k yellow gold bail and engraving star settings with teal and blue color-treated diamonds into the surface of the tooth. The contrast of sparkle against the smooth silver gives it just the right amount of misfit magic.

When I saw this vintage sterling silver articulating teddy bear charm in an antique store in Arizona I was STOKED. This whimisical charm is from the mid century — an era when charm jewelry was made to last, designed with the kind of sculptural detail and solid weight you just don't find in mass production today. 

Every joint moves. The little guy has a whole personality, and he'd been sitting in that antique case long enough.

I found this vintage James Avery “I Love You” charm and instantly fell for its unmistakable ’90s charm. Featuring the brand’s signature hallmark, this sweet sterling silver piece is estimated to date to the late 1980s–1990s, based on its markings — a period when James Avery produced many sentimental, message-driven charms meant for everyday wear and gifting. Nostalgic and timeless, it reflects an era when jewelry was designed to hold meaning, be worn close, and cherished over time.
